Is my Audi's built-in sat nav faulty?

I bought a new Audi Q5 with lots of extras six months ago. However, the built-in sat nav doesn't take the fastest or shortest route when asked to do so and if you programme in the home address it takes you 2.5 miles away.

I'm getting nowhere fast with my dealer on this and am going for a meeting soon. Can you tell what my legal rights are as it does not seem to perform to any of the criteria entered.

Strange. Most countries apart from Britain and Japan have 4 digit zip codes. So satnav built for those countries does not have the programming power or the software to cope with much more precise UK codes. But for the past couple of years satnav in German built cars has been upgraded to the UK system. I think your car accidentally came fitted with German spec satnav and that's why it's haywire.
