Should I buy a BMW 320D M Sport with 100,000 miles on it?

I'm struggling to make a decision on parting with £11,800 for a BMW 320D M Sport Touring, with 100,000 miles, leather interior and one owner. What are the good and bad points of a buy like this? Am I wasting my money? The mileage I cover annually is approx 5000 max. It will be parked outside my house, not in a garage. Are these cars capable of another 100,000 miles electronically and mechanically? Or should I just stay well clear?

These are reliable and well built, but 100,000 miles is way above average and after this distance, things can go wrong that are expensive to fix. It will cover 100,000 miles but don't expect it to be without spending money on maintenance and the odd repair.
