Is this 2000 Saab 9-3 convertible a good buy as a 'fun' car?

Can you offer any advice as to whether the above Saab convertible would be a good buy? It has full Saab service history, two owners, petrol engine and was registered in 2000 on a W plate. It's done 71,700 miles, and is in excellent condition. My husband wants to buy this as a second fun car, but if you don’t think this is a good buy could you recommend something else?

Sounds like a good car with below average miles and would make an ideal second 'fun' car, especially in the summer. You could also consider a BMW 3 Series Convertible. Here's a list of what to look out for on the Saab: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/saab/9-3-convertible...d

Vastly better to drive than the previous version. Superb seats. Excellent crash test rating. A lot of convertible for your money.
