Is there a known fault with the Skoda Yeti DSG gearbox?

I live in Adelaide, South Australia. We purchased a 2011 ex-demo Skoda Yeti 2.0TDI 4WD DSG nine months ago. There is a ground swell here in Australia concerning possible DSG problems. We had a couple of funny shudders during the hot Australia summer and also, when we have five adults in the Yeti, the hill hold really struggles. I mentioned to the dealer several times and he just blows me off. Overall it is the best car I've owned. Are there problems with these DSGs?

In a word, yes. Where operating conditions involve extremes of heat, cold, dust and severe traffic jams VAG has been forced to extend the warranty. This happened in Russia and China and soon after you wrote VAG was forced to issue a 25,000 DSG recall in Australia.
