Where can we sell our SORNed Citroen C3?

Our son's 2007 Citroen C3 has been off the road in our garage for a year. He lives in London and has no need of it and has decided to sell it. He is reluctant to tax, insure and MOT it just to sell it, but is that what he will have to do? Is there a company that would buy it as it is, i.e. SORNed? I'd appreciate your advice.

For a collection fee, www.sure-sell.info can collect it, transport it to an auction site and sell it without any need to take it off SORN. If a trader buys it at auction he can take it away on his own insured trader's plate or on a trailer. Expect a low price, but the cost of MoT-ing, insuring and taxing it will be far greater than the loss from selling it as it is.
