Should I pay the extra for a Fiat 500 Abarth?

I am in the market for a convertible and know you extol the virtues of the FIAT 500. Would it be silly to pay the extra for an Abarth pokier version, or just go for a top engine ordinary FIAT 500C? My only other slight concern is finding an Abarth specialist service agent.

The Abarth is huge fun. But it MUST be on standard 16"" wheels, NOT 17"", which destroy the handling and ride comfort. And it must be manual. After that, the next most fun is the 875cc TwinAir, which is free tax but does not get anything like the EC fuel economy if you have fun with it.
