Ford fiesta - what's the best engine?

I have a Citroen C3 that's now way past its best. I need to update and fancy the new 2014 Ford Fiesta. It will be used primarily for school runs and local shopping trips with occasional trips within a 100 mile round-trip.

What's the best choice of engine in the new Fiesta and what sort of a deal can I expect on price?

Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost 100 or, for more fun, EcoBoost 125. Buy via www.drivethedeal.com and get it for a sensible price.
