Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa - which is best used?

I am looking to buy a used car for £5000-£6000. I have found two that I think are nice but I'm really struggling to decide between them. The first is a 2008 Ford Fiesta 1.2 Zetec, which has had one owner from new and has a added extras like metallic paint, auto-wipers, auto-headlights and power folding mirrors. It is in immaculate condition, FSH, 29,000 miles. Priced at £5200, the dealer is offering £475 part-exchange for my Renault Clio.

The other car is a 2010 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4i 16v SXI which is an ex-lease car. Being the SXI, it is also well spec'd, is in v. good condition (couple of scuffs on the alloys but nothing else), FSH, 28,000 miles. This one is priced at £5990 but that dealer will give me £800 for my car.

I really like both cars, but can’t choose between them. Which would you buy?

The Fiesta is by far the better car. This model has an almost clear slate for reliability and lack of problems. The same, however, cannot be said for the Vauxhall Corsa.
