Citroen C5 automatic gearbox changing down too early - is this a fault?

I have a 2004 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi with an automatic/tiptronic gearbox. I’m very happy with the car, but while driving in tiptronic mode the automatic gearbox will change down when the revs are below 2500rpm. Is this a standard mode on the ‘box or a fault? And if it is a mode, how do I turn it off?

I think that's a standard feature of the aumatic box, to prevent labouring the engine even though peak torque will be at about 2000rpm. If it is really bothering you, it might be possible to get the electronics re-set by a member of www.fedauto.co.uk
