Buying a high mileage Mercedes-Benz - what should I look out for?

I have a chance to buy a high mileage (100,000 miles) 2011 Mercedes-Benz C220 Sport Estate from a cousin. I only need to pay off finance which is £8500, apparently.

It would be great as a replacement for my ageing Seat Ibiz,a but I'm worried about costs of potential problems. What things should I watch out for and what costs might I incur if things go wrong?

This is the kind of car that in theory should be good for half a million miles or more. But there have been a few niggly faults. Check in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar
