My partner is due to replace her 12 year old VW Beetle which will cost more to put right for the next mot than it is worth. She would like a small petrol engined car that is economical with good reliability. She quite likes the MINI One but is open to other options. She has up to £7500 to spend and does about 8000 miles per year. What other small cars should she consider, preferably with a cam chain engine?
