What should I look for in a used Porsche Boxster?

I have seen a 2002 Porsche Boxster 3.2 S for sale at a local garage. It will be a part-ex for my 2007 MX5 with 6000 miles on the clock and a full main dealer service history. The Porsche is £12,000 and I have been offered £6000 for the Mazda. Is this a good deal and what would I have to look out for on the Porsche?

Check the Boxster here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/porsche/boxster-986-...d. It's a bit scary.

The time has come to replace my lovely Ford Cougar. We have identified a nice 2010 Toyota Prius at a main dealer, but they won't give me much for my Ford. Are there any other ways to get more for the Cougar?
