When will the Volkswagen Up be available in the UK?

My son will soon be 17 and we are thinking about the best and most economic way of securing a car. I had heard of a Volkswagen Up scheme at £99 per month for five years, but the dealers are saying they have no information. It is in Europe at 89 Euros per month and due in the UK soon. Any ideas?

On the date you wrote, the Up was too new for UK dealers to know. But it’s here now and I can confirm it’s a great little car, packed with personality and fun to drive. It was also very nearly this year’s European Car of the Year.
