Why don't tyre reviews rate for durability?

We own a 2000 Mercedes-Benz SLK 2.3K that has just completed 32,000 miles on its original tyres. We need to replace two rear tyres and I have been searching for tyre reviews online. Most review sites cover issues such as grip in wet or dry conditions, cornering and comfort, but nowhere can I find mention of durability. Given that driving style will affect this, surely there are two issues that are not covered: the depth of the tread of the new tyre and the composition of the tyre itself. Why are these two aspects not reviewed?

You really now need to replace all your tyres due to age deterioration. www.tyrereviews.co.uk tries to cover everyone's tests as well as its own. From next year new EC regs mean that tyres will have to show an anticipated wear rate.
