Should I use V-Power diesel in my Volvo V70 to avoid DPF problems?

Can you tell me if I am less likely to have particulate filter problems this winter if I always use Shell V-Power diesel in my new Volvo V70 2 litre D3?

Yes. I've been using it instead of Shell FuelSave for the last 2,000 miles and, though it doesn't make the car any more economical, it does make the engine feel smoother and more powerful. In my experience, BP Ultimate diesel does the same job. I had absolutely no DPF problems in a year using that fuel and rarely exceeding 2,000rpm.
