Does the new KIA Rio CRDi achieve Euro 5 emissions without a DPF?

I read that the new KIA Rio 1.1 CRDi ecodynamics (85 g/km CO2) does not have a DPF, despite achieving Euro 5 emissions. If that is true then it can only prove more popular for short journey motorists who have been put off the latest diesels due to the problems associated with expensive DPFs. Do you know whether this engine definitely does not have an (unreliable) DPF, or not?

I asked the estimable Ian Robertson, editor of 'Diesel Car', who knows everything there is to know about diesel cars. The first Rio 1.1 diesels to be imported qualified for EU5 without a DPF, but only the first imports came without a DPF. They have had one ever since. There is a definitive feature about DPFs in Diesel Car magazine.
