Why is LV insurance so much cheaper?

How about this for a cheeky insurance renewal rate? I have been insuring with a leading insurance company for many years. I received a renewal notice for £594.45 for my Mercedes. A quick call to LV resulted in the offer of the same cover for £168.85.

Fantastic, but a little worrying. LV is so much cheaper, friendlier and generally better than any other insurer that I have to wonder how long this situation can last.
