Ultra economical automatic for a high mileage driver?

I do 33,000 miles pa mainly on my 110 mile per day commute along fast A roads and dual carriageway. I have a poorly left knee and am six foot tall with long legs so need a comfortable automatic.

I am currently running at 2011 Citroen C4 Airdream Exclusive with the automated manual gearbox. This is returning a steady 54mpg but unfortunately it is heading out of warranty at 57,000 miles.

My top budget is around £13K. Any suggestions?

Toyota Auris HSD. Not Prius, the Auris is better.
