Extended warranty for a Civic?

I bought a 2008 Honda Civic 2.2L from the dealer last year and have been happy with it. The 1-year warranty will run out soon so I was thinking of buying a 2-year extended warranty for ~£500. Bearing in mind the problems with dual mass clutch discussed on your forum, do you think this is a good idea? Any advice will be appreciated.

£500 is reasonable but make sure the DMF is covered by the warranty. It probably won't be.
