Ford Ecoboost 150 - problems?

I am considering buying a new Ford C-Max with the 150 Ecoboost engine. I read the 9 Feb Telegraph article on the Kuga which appeared to intimate that this engine has been catching fire in the US more often than was normal expected. Please can you advise if this is the case and whether the problems effect UK cars. Also please advise of any other problems with this new engine to inform my final decision.
