Mg Volvo C70 cuts out

I own a Volvo C70. In 2010, the immobilizer and antenna ring (cost £544) were replaced due to a failure to start.

A problem has now arrived where the car will start goes to 2000rpm for three-to-five seconds then cuts out.

So have you had a diagnostic check carried out at all??.Given the problem and the differing solutions it might be the best way forward.

We would suggest that all air/vacuum pipes are checked in the first instance, and if okay then go for the diagnostic.

Things that could be at fault.
1.ECU ( basic setting)
2.EVAP ( evaporative emission cannister purge valve)
3.Throttle control unit - this sometimes fails to close correctly due to a build up of deposits in the throttle body- can sometimes be cleaned out
4. MAF(mass air flow sensor)
5.APP ( accelerator pedal position sensor)
6.ECT ( engine coolant temp sensor)

Hope this helps, but as you can see there are quite a few things , hence the diagnostic.
