VW Touareg - when are the options worthwhile?

I am seriously considering the purchase of a new VW Touareg 3.0-litre diesel with 245bhp. There seems divided opinion about the optional air suspension - several reviews praise it, but a dealer suggested it's only useful if towing, which I won't be.

Neither will I be off-roading - but will use the vehicle on icy country lanes on a regular basis. Similarly, some recommend the camera to aid parking. Can you please advise?

Vastly improves the ride comfort and handling. Reversing cameras take a bit of getting used to, matching the lines on the screen, but once you do they are invaluable.
