Advice needed: I want a small secondhand car
Could you recommend a good small car suitable for an elderly, but as yet mobile, lady. It's to be used primarily for short journeys and town work - no preference for auto or manual. My budget is around £10,000.
I have read previously in HJ's column the Jazz and Yaris were very highly rated; are these models still top of the list or are there now others one should consider?

I'd recommend a Suzuki Splash or Vauxhall Agila 1.0 petrol or 1.2 auto.

Surprisingly spacious small five-door city car. Makes best sense with 1.0 petrol engine. Much better than old Agila. Rebadged version of Suzuki Splash.
