Should I pay this ticket?
I have been issued a parking ticket for parking in a private car park. It was for parking over a white line in an end bay. I have contested it because I was not causing any obstruction to any vehicles as I was in an end bay, I was not blocking any parking bays, I have explained I had done it as I had 2 babies with me and parking in a normal bay I was unable to open my car door wide enough to get the babies car seats out.
They did not provide mother and baby parking facilities however provided disabled? I contested the ticket and they have failed my appeal saying I have not followed the car park procedures and should have parked within the white line. My argument is I was not causing obstruction and they did not offer the facilities for me to park. Can you advise were to go from here?

Well you can pay up or let the matter go to the small claims track of the county court where a judge will decide what was reasonable and what wasn't. The chances of it going to court are 59 in 550,000, and the chances of them winning rather than you are 24 in 550,000.
