C220 auto or E220 manual?

My dilemma. The company is offering me a new Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI saloon or estate automatic, or a new E220 CDI manual.

I like the idea of an auto box but will I regret not going for the space and comfort of the E220 cdi even though its a manual?

The E220 is a much more modern car than the C220.
