How to buy most popular specification of any specific car?
Is there any website available where I can find out what is the most popular specification for any particular car I might be interested in buying? For instance colour, engine, (diesel or petrol) engine size, trim level.
I’ve only ever seen this type of info offered when a motoring journalist reviews a new car and says something like “the 2.0 diesel engine is expected to account for 60% of sales.”
The reason I ask is that I always like to think about selling the car on in the future and the more popular it is the easier it will be to sell.

I don't know of one. Silver is now the most popular colour, even though it makes vehicles invisible in mist and fog.
