What value is a new engine?

I have a 2008 (08) Citroen C4 Grand Picasso which has 45,000 miles on the clock.
Due to Turbo and Engine failure it has just been fitted with a completely new Turbo and Engine from a Citroen Main Dealer (under warranty but cost £6000).

Does this add value to the car, no difference or less value (it's considered a lemon)?
What would be the value to trade or selling privately?
How would I get it independently valued?

Yes. But not more than £500. To me it makes the car a much more attractive purchase than one with the original 45,000 mile engine. This is becoming a common problem because the oil feed pipe to the turbo becomes coked up with carbonised oil, preventing oil from getting to the turbo bearing, and the reason for that is drivers switching off their engines while the turbo is still red hot instead of allowing it to idle for a minute or two.
