Lurching at low speeds

At low speed, say 5mph, my Kia Cee'd lurches violently, typically in car parks, slow traffic etc.

I tried another which does the same but not so badly as far as I can tell. Dealer says nothing wrong from their point of view. Kia came up with nothing. Any ideas? not a problem I have experienced before.

I noticed this but for a different reason. The engine is so silent at low revs you are not aware of the revs you are applying. A glance at the rev counter should help.
