I've got over 60mpg out of my Honda Insight hybrid.

You asked readers to let you know what the true fuel consumption they have experienced. Last December I purchased a Honda Insight hybrid having read about them in one of your articles. The car was nearly a year old and had done about 8,000 miles. The average petrol consumption showed 53mpg. The official overall figures claim 61.3mpg. Since having the car I have managed (with careful driving) to achieve 60.6mpg and the average has increased to 57.5mpg. Not bad I would say.

Please register this at www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg (pick your car from the box at the bottom of the model section). You have done much better than I managed over 600 miles.
