Doesn’t figaro

I drive a Mercedes CLK here in Lancashire and journey down to London. I fancy a small electric car to use in central London. I like the vehicle Andrew Marr drives around London. It looks vintage but I don’t think it is that old. It’s a Nissan Figaro. What do you think about the idea? Or perhaps would it be better or even possible to buy a new car without an engine?

A Figaro dates from 1990 -1991. They were only ever built then. Most are now suffering from body rot. They have a suspect, flimsy drivetrain of turbocharged Mk 1 Micra engine and 3-speed autobox. Basically they look a lot better than they are. If you want a sensible electric car for London, get a Twizy, or wait for a Zoe: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/renault/twizy-2011/ www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/renault/zoe-ze/
