Can you recommend a set of tyres for my 2009 Mondeo that will offer good grip on wet grass?

I have a 2009 Mondeo Titanium 2-litre TDCI automatic estate. It's used for towing a caravan and we're due to set off on our annual six-week European tour at the end of May. Before going, I want to replace the factory-fitted front tyres (Continental Sportcontact 2, 235/40 ZR 95Y) that still have quite a bit of meat on them, but have very poor grip on such as damp grass. We're not talking "off-roading" here, but just a morning dew on grass causes real difficulty - something that was not a problem with our previous Mondeo estate. Can you recommend a replacement tyre that would provide the ability to "get a grip".

You have to replace all four tyres, not merely the fronts, or this will lead to instability when braking in the wet. But I reckon the best off-road tyre that is also quiet on the road is Pirelli Scorpion.
