Please recommend Radio 4 MW to your correspondent JD, which will enable him to listen to Test Match Special.
JD laments his inability to receive Test Match Special on his radio because he can’t get Long Wave. However, I discovered a while ago that the rarely-mentioned Radio 4 Medium Wave (720 metres) mirrors Long Wave rather than FM. Therefore it carries Test Match Special. If JD's radio receives Medium Wave, I wish him many hours of happy listening.
