Am I being told the truth about Jaguar service intervals?
I am considering selling my Jaguar E-Pace petrol 6 years old and buying an F-Pace hybrid petrol that is 4 years old. The dealer tells me it has had 1 service at 2 years and is due another at 4 years in august. Is that correct only every 2 years. I would insist on a service before buying. The next service on my E-Pace is £1200.00 and it has only done 11000 miles. But jaguar say it is the age that matter this corrode.

Some Jaguar models including the F-Pace adopt variable service intervals, and depending on the engine and date of manufacturer, the service interval can be two years or 21,000 miles, whichever occurs first. It is therefore possible that the example you are looking to buy is approaching its second service at four years old. It is important to note that these are manufacturer recommended service intervals, and should you choose to have your car serviced more frequently than this it may help to maintain its condition and value. You have the option to ask the dealer for a service before making the purchase, but they may refuse or ask you to cover the cost, so you may wish to use this as a negotiation tactic in order to get the service at a reduced cost.
