Can I use alloy wheel nuts with steel wheels?

For my Alto I have alloy wheels with summer tyres for the summer and the original steel wheels with winter tyres for the winter, I would like to ask is it okay to use the alloy wheel nuts with the steel wheels?

This will depend on the design of the alloy wheels compared to the original steel wheels, as some alloy wheels have a flat seat where the wheel nut meets the wheel, whereas steel wheels often have a tapered seat and so the design of the wheel nut is also tapered to suit. Comparing the design of your steel and alloy wheels should help, but you may wish to consult with a Suzuki parts department as they should sell both designs of wheel nut if a different design is required.
