Can I lease a car with poor credit?

Are there any reputable leasing companies out there who can help me lease a vehicle? I have a poor credit history but have leased via a salary sacrifice scheme for 14 years without a single problem. I’ve now moved employer and the option for salary sacrifice has now ended. I see lease deals advertised that are far cheaper, but I can’t seem to qualify.

There are a number of leasing companies advertising online that will consider individuals with a poor credit history, and we would suggest looking at reviews such as TrustPilot to find the companies with a better reputation. It is also worth choosing carefully if you decide to apply for a lease, as multiple credit searches may hurt your credit rating further. If you expect your credit rating to improve with time you may wish to consider choosing a secondhand vehicle for the time being, which would then give you a greater choice of leasing companies with an improved credit score.
