What cheap large family 4x4 do you recommend?
I'm looking to buy a large family 4x4, we have had a Santa Fe before and a Chevrolet Captiva I need an automatic and loved both of those cars but they both seem to have some major issues, can you recommend one? My budget is £3000 max.

The Santa Fe is likely a better bet in terms of reliability, plus a superior car in general. Buying what was once a fairly expensive 4x4 at this age does bring with it some risk – there are some alternatives we could point you towards, but there'll be the same potential pitfalls and, in some cases, a greater chance of experiencing issues. All we can advise is that you thoroughly check any prospects and look for the signs of a well-looked-after car with good service history and so on.
