Why can't I source a replacement windscreen for my car?
I have a Dacia Spring Extreme 2024 but I need a new Windscreen as mine has a hairline crack from top to bottom in the centre of the screen. I have been trying to get a new screen since Nov 25 but cannot get one from Autoglass or from Dacia UK. All I am told is there are no screens available in UK or Europe and no date as to when they will be available how do I stand legally on this as it still has 18 months warranty left?

Parts supply for newer cars can be problematic, with the majority of production given over to building new cars rather than maintaining those that are already on the road. Ultimately it is a matter of staying in regular contact with both the dealer and windscreen replacement companies to see if a screen becomes available. You can also try and source one yourself from independent parts suppliers or salvage companies, but ultimately there is little else you can do in this situation other than making a complaint to Dacia UK.
