Can I charge my PHEV from a household three-pin socket?

I have purchased a plug in hybrid which give 75 miles on electric. Can I charge the car from a domestic 3 pin plug?

Your vehicle handbook should provide guidance on its suitability for charging from a three-pin domestic socket, but typically this provides a slow charge and does not provide the same safety levels that a dedicated home charger offers. So yes you can but we would suggest using a three-pin socket as a last resort and consider having a home charge point installed.
