I still have a paper driving licence - do I need to renew it now I am turning 70?

I have held a paper driving licence with my current address since 1981. I shall be turning 70 in December. Do I have to renew it?

Yes, you are required to renew your driving licence when you reach the age of 70. Your old style paper licence will be replaced by a card licence with your picture on. Once you reach 70, you must renew your licence every 3 years. You can find more information on this process here - www.gov.uk/renew-driving-licence-at-70
