Should I buy a 'new' tyre that was manufactured in 2021?

I saw a brand new tyre which was manufactured in 2021 for a good price and wanted to get it fitted but obviously it's 4.5 years old. Is that a problem and reason to avoid or not?

If the tyre is stored correctly, at a suitable temperature and out of natural light, it should be largely as healthy as a brand new tyre. However, given it is already almost halfway through its recommended lifespan we would suggest avoiding it.
