Does the Toyota Aygo suffer from premature clutch wear?
Is there any evidence of premature clutch replacement for the 2014 Toyota Aygo? Mine has just needed a new one at 38000 miles and anecdotally others seem to have suffered the same issue.

We have seen reports from owners of this generation Toyota Aygo that have experienced premature clutch wear, but these issues seem to be sporadic. The difficulty is that unless it can be proven that the wear is caused by a faulty component dealers will typically attribute this issue to driving style, and so getting a consumable part such as a clutch replaced under warranty is a challenge.
