Second hand 323F a good buy?

Hi my son wants to buy a 2001 Mazda 323F 1.5 and the garage is asking £1,500. Is this a good buy? Will it be expensive to repair - are the parts eay to get hold of?

Quite nice in its day. Belt cam so that needs to be changed. Body parts not easy.
