Faulty Alfa Romeo

I have had the same fault re-occuring for the past seven months which commenced at 400 miles.

There have been a number of experts form Head Office Technical and I presume the same or similar parts are being replaced following an engine warning signal appearing.

I now have had enough and would like to know how I stand as regards a replacement or moneyback. The vehicle is a limited edition (900) Alfa Romeo Spider.

Your theoretical rights are different from your practical rights. Theoretically you could sue the dealer possibly quoting the Supreme Court ruling in Clegg v Olle Anderson (trading as Nordic Marine) 2003 and, after spending anything up to £15,000, you might win your case, but you might also lose. Your rights are here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/ Alternatively you could try negotiation with the dealer or employ someone like asklucy@honestjohn.co.uk to negotiate for you.
