Driving on damaged tyres

Stupidly reversed into the sharp corner of a kerb that has resulted in a piece of rubber coming off the side wall of rear passenger run flat tyre.

Tyre is not bulging or deflated and I have successfully driven home on the motorway with no problems following inspection from a recovery service, who advised to continue driving as long as I monitored the tyre.

Not sure what to do now. Does the tyre need to be replaced or repaired or is it OK as it is?

The tyre MUST immediately be scrapped and replaced. It's a death trap.
