Audi multitronic gearbox judder

My car suffers from a judder at about 1200 RPM when going through the auto gears or at low speeds in the 1200 to 1800 RPM range.

I've had the gearbox update, software upgrade and gearbox oil change. The engine is the 2.5 diesel 163.

Any ideas?

Failing 6 plate clutch. Needs replacing with a 7 plate clutch. Expensive. Can be done on the existing shaft more cheaply than the recommended Audi replacement.
