How to stop Toyota C-HR battery from going flat?

My wife has the Toyota C-HR Hybrid and we have just returned from a long holiday (11 weeks) and the battery is flat. Would a solar charger be sufficient to keep the battery in good order? Does the C-HR have an internal socket for this purpose?

It's not unreasonable for a car battery to be discharged after 11 weeks but it may have been on a relatively low charge before the holiday. A solar charger should work well for this purpose. You can get a solar charger that will connect via a 12-volt socket or the car's OBD port to top up the battery over time.
