Best long-lasting tyres?

I own a Kia XCeed 1.4T-GDi First Edition automatic, purchased new in 2019. The current mileage is 11,850 and the two front tyres will soon need replacing having centre tread depths of 2.3mm and 2.5mm. This is probably the worst tyre wear I have ever experienced in 65 years of driving. I usually change wheels around to even out wear but Kia say the wheels must stay in there position because of the automatic pressure indicator and it would be inconvenient to take the tyres off their rims to make this change. What replacement tyres would you recommend to replace these two fronts to provide better wear?

This may sound obvious, but have you had the alignment (tracking) of your car checked via a proper four-wheel alignment system? This can make a substantial difference to tyre wear as the suspension gets knocked out of alignment by bad UK potholes. We recommend doing this annually, and checking the pressures monthly. Also bear in mind that tyres offering better grip levels often don't last as long because they have a softer compound, so modern tyres are a trade-off of performance vs durability. We'd be looking at brands such as Goodyear, Hankook and Michelin for your next set.
