Is the Volkswagen 1.4 TSI engine any good?

Is the VAG 1.4 TSI engine any good? Looking to change car, I do 15,000 to 20,000 a year.

I need a bigger car to replace my 05-plate Golf.

Very nice to drive. Water cooked turbo and chain cam so should be robust. But still a fairly new engine, so the jury is out about its longevity.

Comfortable and quiet on the move, enjoyable to drive. Nicely trimmed with great attention to detail. 1.4 TSI sweeter to drive than a diesel.
