Are there any reported faults not in your Hyundai Tucson car review?

I have an August 2006 registered car. In seven months the warranty runs out.

The car is due its 40k service in February (the cars actual mileage is 30k.)

The car was originaly registered to Hyundai who did not arrange the first service until the car was 18 mths old when I purchased it (4000 mls on the clock). I have been quoted £525 for the Feb service by a local main Hyundai dealer. I can probably halve this by using an independent but I have a list of the requirements which I could easily do myself.

I am intending to complete the service myself and risk that no costly faults arise in the last 6 mths of warranty. There are no issues listed on your car review that worry me. Are there any other issues I need to be aware of. I very much like the car and intend to keep it for a further 2/3 years. For your information the car has been faultless and the fuel consumption has improved from 32mpg to 37mpg. (4wd,2.0 CRTD)

I agree £525 is a lot to pay to secure the final 6 months manufacturer warranty.
