The best everyday convertible is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mercedes-benz/e-clas.../

However, while the E-Class ticks all of the essential boxes, I've always had a soft spot for the Maserati Gran Cabrio. It's a wonderful thing to drive. It has space for four adults and boasts one of the best soundtracks of any car, thanks to its Ferrari V8. But be warned, running costs will be sky high: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/maserati/gran-cabrio...9
